Would you like your child to be entertained and have their reading skills enriched at the same time? I have the skills for both! I have worked with children since 2004, first tutoring 5 to 8-year-old children for reading with the America Reads program and then studying to be a Youth Librarian. During that time I took graduate-level courses in early childhood policy, early childhood literacy, and children's media. I've conducted story times for infants, preschoolers, and school-age children at three different libraries. I've even performed to a group of 300 children before! At the public library every week I am helping children ages 6 - 13 with their homework. Additionally, my little brothers are 13 and 16 years younger than myself, so I experienced their formative years in the role of caretaker as well as a big sister.
