I love children of all ages. I worked in child care at a children's hospital, with doctors, nurses, and children. I assisted in getting the 4 and 5-year-olds outside, keeping their minds busy, developing their motor skills, and letting them grow individually. I have also babysat in the past for three families, off and on, for the last two years. I took them to the park and found ways to keep them busy without television. I love the little ones, because I love to see them grow up. I have seen the babies figure out how to talk and walk and that is a great feeling inside, to know I assisted them. Talking is awesome and I love when I first hear them say the word "ball". I also love to see them grow into who they are, with their personality and sensitivities which they find out about themselves, along the way! When it comes to the older ones, we can have a conversation, and together, we can find out what they would like to do, to keep their mind growing, find their independence and learning, while figuring things out themselves. It interests me how each individual kid finds ways to entertain himself/herself, without anyone showing them how to have fun!
