Hello everyone!
First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and consider me as your potential babysitter and/or nanny.
My name is Chelsea and I am 22 years old. I am a recent graduate from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and I double majored in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.
As for extracurricular activities, I am involved in a campus ministry and I am also actively involved in a service and leadership organization. In high school, I was on the tennis team and I was president of both my choir and the humanity club.
I am fun, energetic, caring, creative, responsible, honest, trustworthy, and most of all well qualified. I just renewed my Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification. I have been babysitting for 10 years, and I have had a lot of experience with children as young as a month old to 11 and 12-year-olds. Part of my education major is spending time in a classroom setting, so I am expanding my knowledge of different learning types and behaviors and how to handle each situation appropriately.
I do not smoke or drink, and I do not swear around children. It is very important to me to be a positive role model to the kids.
I love being active, and I believe that when someone comes to watch your children, the kids should really have a good time. Some of the activities I like doing with children are arts and crafts, board games, sports, and dress up. I also like to take children on age-appropriate "field trips" to places such as the zoo, children's museum, museum of nature and science, local pools, the library, and the recreational center.
In addition to caring for your children, I am able to do some light housework, look after pets, homework help, and run simple errands. Because I do have my license and my own car, I am able to take children places if necessary.
