I have babysat many times. I have even filled in at a home day care watching 6 kids for a day with no other help. I was in charge of all the dirty diapers, making meals, settling confrontations and laying them down to nap.
I'm also a youth leader at my church and used to fill in at the nursery. Every Wednesday night and Sunday morning, myself and four other leaders teach a group of about 15-30 kids from 6th grade to 12th grade for 1-3 hours. Being a youth leader also means being a listening ear and helping the children through life's problems.
Most babysitting jobs I have done have been for family or family friends. For family, I have watched my two younger cousins from ages 1 and 5, up till now, at 6 and 11. The older boy has said, Quote: "You're the best babysitter in the world." I have also babysat twin boys at the age of 2. That required feeding, plenty of diaper changes, lots of playtime and many hugs.

Now a little about myself. I have some college experience, I am taking a break because I am looking for a full time job. The hard thing about getting a full time job is that I am a Missionary. So far in the year of 2012 I have three trips, one will be three weeks long, I will be working in Africa with orphans. The first trip I had this year was to the D. R. and the second trip will be with my youth kids. Being a youth leader takes dedication. I must be at youth group Wednesday nights, youth leader meetings every Friday night and every Sunday morning for Sunday School. I also take time to help with fundraisers and events.
Also, I sing lead and back-up on the worship band, so at least two Saturdays a month I have hour practices.

Aside from youth and church, in my free time I like to drive around the lake and take walks on the trails with my camera. Photography is a great passion of mine. I was going to school for it.
I have taken a Strengths Finders test, my top five are: belief, empathy, includer, connectedness and developer.

I believe these strengths are what make me a good youth leader, missionary and babysitter!
