I began working with children at the very young age of 12. I babysat 2-year-old twin boys for two years. Then at 15, I got hired at a daycare. Throughout this time of working here, I babysat for about five to seven different families when needed. At age 16, I left my job for a better paying job and moved to work at Nanny's Preschool and Child Development Center for one summer, then returned to Calvary Day Care until I graduated from high school in Alexandria, LA. The summer after my freshman year in college, I was a full-time nanny for a family with three children; a 7-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy with special needs, and 9 month old girl. Throughout my college years, I babysat for a few families here and there. After graduating from Louisiana Tech in May 2011 with my Bachelor's in Speech Pathology & minor in Family Child Studies, I got hired for a full time summer position at South Parkway Daycare where I also cared for a few children away from work. I am VERY passionate about children because I love being around them. I feel I am a very outgoing, motivational person that I LOVE to see the children happy around me and the changes I have made, and can make in more children's lives.
