Hello!

My name is Charlotte, and I am currently 23. I just finished student teaching in a second grade classroom in Ypsilanti. I am looking for part or full time babysitting/nannying for the summer.

I will student teach in a preschool setting in September, and will then graduate with a minor in Early Childhood Education, with a major in Elementary Education (Reading).

I have been babysitting and nannying ever since I was about 14, and have cared for children from almost 30 families since then. I have some experience with children with Autism. I have many, many references, and also worked as a caregiver for a Grandparents As Parents Program up until I began student teaching this year.

I have experience with children from birth through 14. I have a strong background in child development and love to apply my education background to nannying. I try to find fun, creative, active and educational activities whenever possible. I also am very comfortable driving children to activities, preparing meals, and other things around the house, but my primary focus is on child care.

I'm extremely passionate and hands-on with children. I love helping children express their creativity, and watching them grow. I understand the importance of reading in a young child's life, but also have studied development and know that children need to grow as a whole child. I support their emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development as well. I am also extremely loving and energetic, and know that the best way to care for a child is to develop a close relationship with the family as a whole.
