I am the grandma of 2 and the surrogate of two. I love being with children and we seem to form a bond quite early on. The children I am a nanny for now are a 7 1/2-year-old boy and a 3 1/2 boy. Being with them five days a week gives a whole new meaning to "getting up in the morning." I fix breakfast and lunch for them and when the parents go out for the evening, I am there with the children. Before the little one was born, the 3 1/2-year-old would sometimes come spend the night with me because he loves my kitties and it gave his mom some quiet time.

I am just very passionate about giving love and quality time to a child whose parents cannot be home with them 24 hours, seven days a week. I was also in charge of our church nursery while living in Denver. I was in charge of setting it up including buying the furniture and scheduling ladies to help with the children as well as spending some time in the nursery myself.
