I started watching and taking care of my 4-year-old and 2-year-old cousins by myself, when I was around 12-years-old. Since then, my sister has had two children and both of my brothers have had a daughter each, whom I've helped take care of since the day they were born. Now, on a day to day routine, I care for my 13- and 11-year-old cousins, my 5-year-old niece, and my 7-month-old niece. I help the older kids with their homework and make sure they're on schedule as far as their after-school and nighttime routines. The 5-year-old and I often do after-school projects and homework as well, and at night she loves for me to read her books. I am used to and very capable of caring for more than one child at a time. I have had experience working with special needs children while working at Easter Seals Camp Challenge. I have had a lot of experience with everything from newborns to teens and I love every bit of what I do!
