I am the oldest of four children and growing up was expected to help take care of my younger siblings. I am 12-14 years older than my two younger sisters and have had experience taking care of them since they were newborns until I left for college, when they were ages 4 and 6. I have had additional experience with children with includes being a summer art teacher/assistant for classes offered to children ages 5-14. I also recently took care of two twin 7-month-old babies. I am comfortable with changing diapers, changing children into their clothes, cleaning up any messes, feeding children, etc. I have also been through First Aid/ Emergency training through my experience as a Resident Assistant while attending KCAI these past two years.
