I am currently 18 years old. My experience with children is very good. My parents had me at a young age so I was the only child for 7 years of my life. When my sister finally came along, I helped out a lot with her because my parents both had full-time jobs. Then 2 years later my brother was born, by then I was 9 and was already a full time babysitter. Eventually my mom had the last child of the family, another brother. So there I was with 3 younger siblings, by then I was a pro at babysitting, but with me in school, daycare became too much so my mom was a stay home mom. I helped out with everything. Since my dad was the only provider, I was the 3rd parent. In high school, I had numerous jobs babysitting and for a summer I nannied for my mom's friend. Being around kids is a joy. I love the duties that babysitting entails: cooking, cleaning, playing. Now that I am attending college, I am just looking to keep doing what I love to do and pursue a career.
