I have been baby-sitting children since I was about 13 years old. I started out just caring for my niece and nephew, then started to venture out and put my ad up in newspapers and so on. I initially began watching my niece from the time she was a newborn, and still do to this day, and she is 11. Her brother is 9 and I care for him as well. I have baby-sat children from the ages of 2 months, up to 14 years. I then started to work for a summer recreation program for the youth in my community. I worked there for three summers consecutively. I absolutely love to give parents a feeling of security when they leave their children with me. I love to know that the children feel comfortable and relaxed around me, and feel as though I'm not only someone who is caring for them, but someone they can confide in. My passion is to help children to be in a safe and positive environment when other caregivers cant give that. I love to have fun, do crafts, be active, and let my inner child be released to let the children know I'm there not only to baby-sit them, but to have fun while doing it.
