I've worked regularly as a babysitter since my early teens. In the summer of 2009, I cared for two boys aged 8 and 10 for 10 hours a day, five days a week. I entertained and supervised the boys, prepared meals each day with regard to specific health concerns, and planned day trips to amusement parks, water parks, and playgrounds. I graduated from Lawrence University this year with an English major. I also focused much of my time at school on education classes which gave me considerable experience as a classroom volunteer with students aged 5-15. I worked as a tutor at the local youth camp for three years, giving one-on-one instruction and mentoring to students aged 5-18.
