I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have always loved it. My mother is a kindergarten teacher, so I am frequently going up to her school and helping out with her class. I also interned at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for six months where I was constantly around kids. In fact, in was in my job description to treat all children with respect and make sure that every one of them left with a smile. My senior year of high school, I was chosen to be in PALS which is a club which we go to elementary schools four days out of the week and spend time with children in need of a pal. I plan on being a speech therapist for kids with speech impediments when I am done with school, so I am committed to being around children very often.
