I started baby-sitting my younger sister and fellow neighborhood little ones when I was 14. I started working at a local day care when I was 17 years old for a youth apprenticeship program in high school. When I first started, I was worked with the one-year-old class and after I graduated I became full-time and was moved to the 6 months to 12 month as one of the leader teachers. While employed with the day care, I became certified in CPR and First-Aid. It's always a good thing to have knowledge of when little ones are involved. I enjoy watching children of any age. They are my passion. I'm currently in college to become a radiology technologist. I'm hoping that when I do graduate college, I'll be able to work solely with children.
