I'm originally from Arkansas and have 13 years of childcare experience. Having so many years of relevant childcare experience has diversified my view on childcare, and made me pretty adaptable to a wide variety of situations and families. I first started sitting my nieces and nephews, then volunteered at my church nursery and children's church. I've also worked as an independent contractor for a local sitting agency (having sat for 50 different families). I have the most experience with infants to toddler age, but also get along with older children. I have 12 nieces and nephews ranging from the ages of 3 years old to 15 years old, so I guess you can say I've seen it all. I consider myself a fun sitter with a very nurturing nature. With younger babies, I love cuddling, reading, singing and taking a stroll as well as engaging them in motor and sensory skill activities such as tummy time. There's a bit of a different approach when it comes to older children. Each child has their own unique personality, so I like to find out how they think, feel, react and go from there. I find out what their interests are, and what would make each event fun for them.

Some of my hobbies include cooking, watching movies, furniture restoration, both graphic and interior design, and outdoor activities. I love the pool and camping in the summer.
