If you are a family who loves being a family and cherishes your children and you looking for a creative, energetic nanny to share your delight in your children, we might have found each other! As a licensed teacher in Early Childhood Education of infants/toddlers/preschoolers through elementary, I have had a lifetime of experience with and love of children. In addition, I have participated in raising 34 children as a nanny, birth, step- and foster mother. I love to plan and participate in fun activities which engage, enrich and stimulate children to learn, sing, think, love books, and reach their potential and developmental milestones; if you are interested in sign language or baby sign, I can teach it to your children and you as well. I am a good driver with a reliable car, a non-smoker, am certified in CPR and Children 's First Aid, and am comfortable with pets if you have any.

Young children are my heartsong; I enjoy nurturing and caring for them because they are so responsive to love and attention. Time stands still, or flies unrepentantly by, when I am with them. Their intuitiveness, genuineness, precociousness and sense of wonder continually delight me; their ah-hah moments fuel my passion for creating hands-on teachable moments. It delights me to touch the life of a child and satisfies me deeply. I love being a nanny because I can apply what I 've learned in education into the day-to-day care of a child in an ongoing relationship with a family. The organizational skills in being a teacher also make it natural for me to check in with parents each day and keep a daily log of what I do with your child so you have a record of the details of our day and my observations.
