I owned my own day care in California caring for children age newborn to preschool age for five years. I also worked at a non profit agency for four years living with DD adults teaching them life skills, supervising their medications, as well as job coaching. I did counseling at a mental health clinic working with the child population. So you can see I have a passion for as well as a well rounded resume working with all children. I came to Idaho to be near my grandchildren. I have two grandchildren, ages 7 and 8, a girl and a boy. I teach them cooking, crafts and we have fun going to the movies or just hanging out. They are the best part of my life. I have two more in California, a 2-year-old granddaughter and an 8-year-old grandson. I talk to them on the internet often and visit as much as possible. I feel it is important for them to have a wonderful connection with their grandmother. Family is very important to me, so I would care for your children as if they were my family.
