I am a young 45-year-old with grown children, ages 20 and 23. I have been married for almost 25 years. In my entire life, I have always loved working/playing with children. I take great pride in what I have to offer the families I work for. I put safety first and like to feel good each day about what I have accomplished.
I decided at age 40 to go back to school so that I could learn more about children and what is best for them in the most critical part of their lives. They are little sponges and I want to be a part of helping them have positive experiences both developmentally and emotionally. I have been a preschool teacher in addition to my experience as a nanny (with children ranging in ages from newborn to 9 years old). I recently earned my AA in Early Childhood Education and am certified in infant, child and adult CPR. I also have special training from working with autistic children. I am now working toward my Bachelors degree in Human Development. I currently work for a family with three young children (part-time), but am looking for another family that can provide me with some extra hours. My profile shows what hours I am available.
