My name is Carolina, and I had my first baby-sitting job at the age of 12 years old. I am 30 years old and a mother to the most amazing 7-year-old girl. Being around children is second nature to me, and I truly enjoy and love being around children. I have worked in a day care setting and took the 45 required hours to work in child care for Florida. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Although I have not gotten paid in the last five years for baby-sitting, I have been the go-to aunt and friend for date nights and "mommy needs a breather" for kids newborn to teens for many years, not to mention the hands on experience of being a mother.
I just moved to San Francisco from Florida, and I am looking to start working with children again. Since my daughter is getting older, it is time to start working on my life goals. I am working to become a certified Massage Therapist, preferably working with pediatrics. I am also looking to get my certification as a kids Yoga instructor. Getting to work with kids part time will allow me the opportunity to sharpen my skills of being around kids. I am very reliable and caring, and I know what it is to be a parent that only wants the best for your child. :-)
