I am currently attending the University of Whitewater Wisconsin, but unsure about what I will be majoring in. I had a job at a local family restaurant that sadly closed this past winter so I am looking for a summer job. I have babysat over the summer a number of times for family friends and it was a wonderful experience. Getting to know the children on a friend basis rather than just presenting myself as their guardian for a short period of time is something I think is extremely important. I believe that it is beneficial to understand the children's needs and be able to get along with them in order to make things enjoyable for everyone. I enjoy being active, anything ranging from simply playing in the house/backyard to going on a trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum. I am very passionate about art, so if the kids are interested in arts and crafts I am very willing to construct something to keep them occupied!
