My name is Caraleisa. I am 20 years old and recently married. I am looking for a full-time or part-time job. When I was a freshman in high school, my mom had my little brother, who is now 6 years old. I have watched him since he was an infant and I have enjoyed it so much. My mom had to work night shifts some nights when I was in high school. During the infant months, my older brother and I had to take turns waking up at late hours in the night, feeding him and making sure he was comfortable. As he has grown up, I have continued to watch him and spend time with him. I love reading stories to him, playing games and teaching him school subjects among many other things. Children are so magical, they make you smile all the time. When my brother was almost three, they diagnosed him with autism. Watching all different types of children has taught me that every one is different, but in a good way. That is what makes every child unique and fun to be around. I love doing many things, some of which are arts and crafts, cooking, playing sports, and reading. I also have worked in a youth center. I would care for up to 20 to 25 kids at a time. While I was working there I made lesson plans for the children and taught them many different things such as helping them with their homework, manners, reading, sports, and games. I felt like all of the children were kids of my own. They are so sweet and funny.
