As the oldest of five children (my youngest sibling is 14 years younger) I started babysitting at a very early age. Now that I'm an adult and my siblings and all my girlfriends have children, I spend of lot of time in the auntie role and I absolutely love it. My friends have spread the word and my weekends are filling up fast, but many days are still free. To hire me would be like having an extra "you" around the house. I think it's important for the kids to have fun, but to leave the house at least as good as I found it. Recently a mom told me that her kids asked "if they would go out so that Candace could babysit". I think that's about the best "kid" compliment you can get! Also, I am skilled in the kitchen, so I am available to get dinner started/clean up a little, etc., depending on the needs of your children.
