After graduating from Radford University in Educational Studies in 2004, I immediately embarked in my journey as an educator of small children. I began teaching preschoolers ages 3 and 4 at a children's center in Lansdowne, VA. Three years later I discovered my love for environmental education and taught preschool nature camps and other various scout programs with children from four years of age to 12 years of age at a nature sanctuary in Leesburg, VA. As well, I have closely worked with special needs students in county public schools for the past 4 years in PreK-5th grade, striving to help them succeed everyday in every situation. I hope to bring my range of experiences and knowledge to benefit a family in the Northern Virginia area as I continue my education to earn my Masters in Special Education.
