To start off I am the second oldest of five. I graduated high school in 2011. I played four years of varsity soccer, ran four years of varsity track and participated in two years of JV basketball. Currently I am attending college as well.
I have always loved being able to interact and entertain children too. I have babysat for many different families with ages ranging from newborn to 7th grade. One of those experiences I babysat up to eight children at a time which was a fantastic experience. I was a nanny for a family for a summer with twins who were 7 and a 7th grader. That was a huge learning experience. I was responsible for feeding the girls, doing the dishes, cleaning up after them, along with helping them with their summer studies.
In high school I helped out in a first grade classroom for an average of an hour a day. This experience has given me the ability to be with kids everyday and be able to teach them new things.
I also have three younger siblings ages 6, 9, and 11. My older sister is 19 months older than me. I also have helped coach at a soccer camp for kids ranging between 6 and 8. That was a blast. I instructed the kids through multiple different activities along with making sure they were having fun!
I also spent a summer where I was a nanny for a 2-month-old. My daily responsibilities were mainly focused on care for the newborn.
I have been a "mom's helper" for a family with 5 children. I would help around the house, entertain the children and go on trips to the zoo, beach, pool, etc. with the family.
I have also coached 3-year-old, 5-year-old and even some 8-year-old soccer classes.
I absolutely love playing games with children. I love being outside, and baking. I play soccer, run track and used to play basketball and volleyball. I love bringing my siblings to movies, the park, ice skating, etc. I also love babysitting and am pretty flexible with hours, but am looking for a summer position.
