Since I was 14, I have cared for children. My mother was a teacher, and her peers at work (also my teachers) were always arguing over time to schedule me to babysit. I have always been absolutely enamored with children, which when coupled with my determination and work ethic, makes for one great babysitter. I still babysit currently, but the family I have sat for is no longer in need. I am a full time student at Temple University (3.9 GPA), not majoring in child care, but fulfilling my love for children and teaching children via offering babysitting services. I have experience with all age groups, including infants. Toddlers have given me the most experience. I am fine around pets, and love to keep myself busy when the children are otherwise engaged or sleeping, by cleaning! My friends have nicknamed me "Sally Homemaker" for my love of all things domestic. My mother became a certified doula at U Penn after her retirement from teaching. Though I have no formal training apart from my experience, I have learned a great deal from my mother in reference to baby care and child rearing. I would be absolutely honored to be welcomed into a family and to care for their gems!
