I just received my Master's in Education with a concentration in early childhood education (Pre-K to 3rd grade) from Rutgers University so I have heavily studied the physical, social, emotional and mental development of young children. I started working with kids in a summer camp setting four years ago but I have always been around younger children growing up. At the camp I worked with 2-3-year-olds but I've done tutoring and baby-sitting for a variety of families on and off, with kids ranging from 2 to 9. I also worked for a year at a child care facility at a gym that services children from 3 months to 11 years. I primarily worked with the infants and toddlers but also enjoyed spending time with the older kids. In the last year I completed my student teaching in first grade as well as Pre-K and have done various observation visits in childcare centers with children from the ages of 2-6.
