I started babysitting at the age of 12, and by the age of 14 I was running my own summer camps for the kids in my neighborhood. That gave me needed experience for the future. I have currently worked for the school district for two years as an After-School Program Group Leader and Sub-Coordinator. In that position, I was responsible for planning and implementing educational activities for groups of children between the ages of five and 12. I specialized in working with the children in kindergarten, first, and second grades. As their leader, I provided homework help and did everything in my power to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
