I have been babysitting children since I was 10 years old. I've always been a very responsible, caring person. I was clearly born with a motherly attitude and treat all of the children I've ever babysat as I would family.
The first young child I babysat was a 6-month-old boy. I started babysitting him when I was just 10 years old, and caring for an infant came naturally; he was a family friends baby and they had known and trusted me for a long time. After I had moved away from him, I continued to babysit as much as possible. I have babysat all ages from 6 months to 8 years old. Most all children get along with me and look up to me. I am not the type of babysitter that will agree to watch your kids and then turn on the television as soon as you leave. I make sure to engage learning activities and play all day long. Being involved with children and creating conversation is truly important to me. Not only do the kids have fun, I do also. Currently I babysit two children in Florida, one is 20 months old. The other is 4 years old. They both view me as part of their family and always ask when I'll visit next. I honestly love to sit.
