I received my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education from Albany Technical College in 2007. While attending Albany Technical College we transitioned to every room in the daycare ranging in age from 6 weeks to 5-year-olds. This allowed us to interact with each age group which was a great experience. We began to intern and I had previously developed such a great relationship with the Pre-K class I was elected to remain their until it was time to do my internship. For my internship I was fortunate to find an elementary school which I worked with a 4th grade class. That was also another great experience. I worked two years with 2-year-olds in their potty training stage. I was ecstatic that I potty trained 8 boys and girls before them transitioning to the 3-year-old room. I have had 3 years of experience working in a Pre-K setting as a Teacher and Teacher Asst. I have worked in the summer with Girls Inc which ranged from ages 6-12.
