Hello! My name is Brittany, and I am a current student at Catawba Valley Community College and Challenger ECHS. I am motivated, fun-loving, hard-working, talkative, and I love nothing more than helping others learn new things.
I am involved in all types of sports, play five instruments, and I also tutor children and adults after school. My GPA is a 3.59 weighted, and I also participate in many school bands and clubs. I am also an active member of the community, participating in many outreach programs to underdeveloped areas and Latino citizens. I am a once a week teacher's assistant at a local elementary school with 55 ESL students.
My latest accomplishment has been traveling to Houston Texas over the summer on a full-scholarship internship at the Johnson Space Center with NASA. This is my second NASA internship.

My experiences with child care are split between institutional care and home care. I have babysat since I was 13 years old, with age ranges from 6 months to 12 years. I have also taken care of a maximum of six children in one evening (6 hours, age ranges 4-10). I have taken courses with the Girl Scouts of America as well as the YMCA, and was previously Red Cross CPR certified (did not renew this past year, but I know how to utilize the skills needed to perform such tasks).
