I've been caring for children since I was 13 years old, starting off as a babysitter. Then, when I was in high school I worked for a daycare called Knowledge Beginnings Learning Corporation. I primarily worked as a teacher's assistant in the infant department there, but there weren't enough hours available for me at the time. Finally, last September I became a part-time nanny for a family that I love, but unfortunately I'm very allergic to their 3 cats. I've really grown fond of the child and family and plan on finishing out the school year with them, but this summer, it's not going to work out to be around the cats all the time (any other animals I have no allergies towards). I'm looking for a Monday-Thursday full day schedule, but will definitely consider other options too. I love being around kids; they remind me of how important the simple things are in life!
