I have over 11 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities including special needs. I have a twin sister with special needs. I love children; they are my life.
Education I have taken in regards to children: -Psychology -Careers in Health -Child Dev, 1, 2, 3 -Careers in Early Childhood Education -Curriculum Development -Positive Guidance and Discipline -Children's Literature -Creative Expression & Play -Art & creative development -Health, Safety, & Nutrition -Movement & Music -Early Childhood Literacy -Cultural Diversity Associate Degree in Early Childhood.
I am certified in CPR, BLS, First Aid, blood borne pathogens (HIV/AIDS), STARS Certified, med tech certified, Fundamentals of Care Training. I am also certified as a Medical Assistant where I have worked at a hospital.
I love to do many activities with children: reading, arts and crafts, age appropriate activities, going to the park, zoo, mall play area, educational activities, and many other places.
I love being able to teach children new things.
I have worked in day cares, nannied, ran support group day cares for parents that have special needs children, taken many child development classes, STARS certified, furthered my education by receiving my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I also have a 3-year-old girl and 5-month-old son. I am hoping to find a loving family that would be okay with me being able to bring my child with me. I am a very hard worker and would always give your child/ren the love and attention that they need as I have worked and ran an in-home day care with over 15 children by myself, including infants to school age; the day care provider was never home. You will not be disappointed. I have many references that would be able to confirm for you. It would be great to have another child around so they can have child interaction.
