I have worked at 3 pre-schools, one being a child development program while I was in high school. The other 2 schools I work for were accredited schools, The Goddard School and Holding Hands Family Center in NJ.

The Child Development program where I did casework was in high school. The first 2 years were classes I chose to take. The first year we learned about the development of children. The second year we learned how children learn and to write our own lesson plans. The 3rd year I was paid to provide my teaching in that classroom for about 40 minutes a day. I took lesson plans and taught them to children ages 2-5 years old.

I have also watched 2 children out of my home. I have a 3-year-old son so I have been a stay at home mom for about a little over 3 years now. I have watched a neighbor's daughter for about a year on a weekly basis and then on an as needed basis until we moved to Texas. The other person found me on a website like Care.com and I provided care to her son while she was in the middle of a job change.

I am 23 years old and I babysat for friends and family members from the time I was 12 years old until I had my son. Overall, I have 11 years experience between babysitting, child development program, working at preschools, and watching children out of my own home.
