I currently am taking online college courses and as a form of income I babysit/ am a mother's helper. I have roughly 5 years babysitting experience with up to 3 children, multiples included. I believe that it is my job to help parents out while making sure the children are well taken care of and have fun! I believe the best babysitters are the one both the kids and parents love! I like to break that stigma of the scary babysitter that kids hate or the older one that makes yucky food and has a million cats.. =) I love to play games (board games, not a huge fan of video games) , watch movies and play outside, etc. I think it is very important to get kids up and moving as well as be creative with craft time and "no TV" time. I believe that all kids can be held responsible for their actions. I think it is important that children are involved in clean up time and I am not against time out when it is necessary. I can cook and am all about making well balanced meals if the kids are with me during a meal time and an occasional special treat (my favorite is "dirt" pudding which kids LOVE). I do believe in homework/ chores before fun activities. I also can plan fun educational activities if the parents would like. I have experience with the entire age range of children and am comfortable with pets.
