Since March, I had been a nanny to a loving 1-year-old girl. However, they have just moved out of state so I am currently looking for a new family to nanny! I loved to take my girl to gym classes, spend almost everyday outside, either going on walks or playing at the park, and doing many different art projects! Before my nanny position, I spent a year as an infant teacher at a daycare center where I had the opportunity to care for infants 6 weeks - 15 months old. I watched up to seven infants at a time, including several premature babies and a set of twins. I feel privileged to have played an important role in each child's specific development and progress. This experience has trained me on how to recognize common infant illnesses, provide aid within each stage, such as teething and how to react in certain emergencies. Through daily communication, I have learned to create healthy relationships and build trust within each parent.

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I am now working toward a dual degree from Erikson Institute and Loyola University for a Master's Degree in Child Development and Clinical Social Work. With these degrees, I aspire to become an infant mental health specialist. I am CPR/first aid certified and would be happy to provide references!
