As the older sister in my family, taking care of the little ones has always been a part of my life. At 16, it became my job. And now, at 21, I have been a nanny for 2 children for almost three years. My experience includes tutoring, transportation to and from school and other activities, as well as preparing meals and light housekeeping duties. I began an after school program that took advantage of the extra time kids wait at school to tutor them based on their type of learning and personal interests. I also was involved in a mentoring program where I helped freshmen students adjust to the high school environment.
