I have always loved children, but I started enjoying it most when I was working for the Boys and Girls Club during the summers of '09 and '10. Having the experience of working with children of all ages and backgrounds really made me appreciate the job because having that feeling of them looking up to you as a role model is the best feeling. I also was a part-time nanny for two families this past year. The first family was a boy (age 7) and a girl (6), and my second family was two girls (ages 9 and 7). My duties consisted of picking them up from school, for the most part, and taking them to their after school activities. If that wasn't on the schedule, just spending time with them on their homework, crafts, baking/cooking. I enjoyed my time with both families. I had to quit because I just graduated from the University of Idaho and was ready for a fresh start in Boise.
