Hello, my name is Brittany and I am considering staying in Minneapolis this summer with my sister-in-law. I would like to be a nanny for your family. I am originally from Appleton, WI. I am 24 years old and am a certified teacher. My areas of certification are Special Education and Elementary/Middle General Education. I have experience working with children with Other Health Impairments, Severe Learning Disabilities, Autism, Cognitive Disabilities, Speech and Language, and behavior concerns. I have a great deal of past babysitting experience. I have also worked for Wisconsin Early Autism Project and currently work at our local YMCA. In the past I also worked for Family Services of Brown County as a Family Support Worker. I worked with first time moms (ages 13-21) whose children were exposed to a variety of risk factors. I taught them daily infant/child care skills as well as positive parenting strategies. I am available Monday-Friday from the beginning of June through the end of August. In addition to providing your children with daily care I would also be able to help them retain the skills they learned in school through the summer!
