The ages started from newborn to 12. I have worked at the Boys and Girls club and I also worked at a summer camp and I watched the staff children. My mother is also a fourth grade teacher. I go into her classroom once a week and help with activities....

I started off when I was 13 as a Mother's helper. I watched the children if the parents had to do things around the house. I always babysat my cousin's children. The ages started from newborn to 12. I have worked at the Boys and Girls club and I also worked at a summer camp and I watched the staff children. My mother is also a fourth grade teacher. I go into her classroom once a week and help with activities. I enjoy children so much! I always had a calling for children. After high school, I attended college and majored in elementary education and child care. I went for a year then decided to work full time. When I babysit, I always have plans set out of what we are going to do for the day; examples like activity books, arts and crafts or go to the public library and play and read books there. Also, play at the park and get exercise. I love children, and I love learning from them also. Children are so smart in their own ways and that is what I love about them.
