During the school year, I work as a paraprofessional in a middle school special education program. I work with severe special needs students, and have had two years experience with my current job. Outside of my current job, I have been volunteering for five years within special education, and had a one year internship in special education at the high school level. I have also recently begun volunteering with the Special Olympics here in Colorado. I am currently in college studying to become a special education teacher.

Outside of special needs, I also have experience with younger children. I have previously volunteered within a preschool classroom. I also have experience babysitting toddlers. I have a 2-year-old niece that I spend a lot of my free time with, so I'm experienced with toddler and newborn care.

I enjoy being around kids, and I love the fact that there is never a dull moment!
