Hello parents! My name is Briana and I am looking for a job doing something I love, and that is taking care of children and babies. I have been taking care of children, toddlers, and infants for the past eight years of my life. Of course I started at home, I come from a large family and I am the oldest of six children. At just 13 years old I started caring for my younger brother who is now 6 years old. I started meeting families through Care. com. Later I posted on another website where I have been successfully accepting new jobs. I've babysat a baby boy (5 months) for the summer of 2011, I've also watched 2 girls (ages 3 months and 2 years). I've also met another pair of girls (ages 5 years and 9 years). I occasionally watch a baby girl (6 months). I can go on and on about my experience. I'm experienced with ages ranging from newborn to school-age children. Just an update, December 15, 2012 was my last day working with a baby girl. She was 5 months when I started and is now 10 months.
I have just graduated from high school this past year (Class of 2011) and I am now studying further as a neonatal nurse practitioner. I want to turn my passion of taking care of babies into a life experience. The joy that babies bring to this world is just amazing. Their smiles, their goo's, their laughter, just lifts my spirit. Psalm 127:3 says that "children are a heritage from the Lord" and that is how I see children, as a blessing. I believe that infants, toddlers, children are special and I treat them like they're special.
When I babysit, I do everything from feeding, to changing diapers, to playing educational games, putting them to sleep, etc. I also don't mind doing little housekeeping jobs around the house such as: washing clothes, vacuuming around the house, cooking, cleaning, etc. I'm very responsible, energetic and young, lovable, and a very trustworthy person. I know a lot of you may not be fond of meeting new people online to care for your children, but I am very honest and I will do anything to help you know that your child is safe. Like I said before my experience ranges from almost all ages, so PLEASE let me be that helping hand. I'm willing to do any interviews, background checks, references.
