Being raised in a home that was a child care center, my love for kids has been in me since I was a little girl. I have been babysitting for families with young children since I was 12. Yearly I've been an overnight camp counselor for youth, caring for toddlers to high school age kids for weeks at a time. I prefer to play games, be active, dance, bike, or whatever the interests of the kids are instead of watching TV or playing on the computer. I give 100% of my attention and energy to making sure the child feels safe, taken care of and loved. I am punctual and like to take care of the home as well, leaving it more tidied up when parents get home than how it was before they left. I have also taken many child development classes that have given me a greater understanding of children on a deeper level. I am CPR certified, have my food handlers card, a reliable form of transportation with insurance and a list of references.
