Throughout my time in high school, I babysat part-time for numerous families. Since I enjoy spending time with children so much, I also coached a soccer team for kindergarteners in the spring of 2009. I have experience working with families with two or three children from the ages of 6 months to 15. Since I began my undergraduate degree in Public Health and Psychology three years ago, I have focused on the well being of children. While completing my psychology minor, I took the course Developmental Psychology in which I learned about children's stages of development. I received an A in this course. During my spring semester in 2012, I studied abroad in Ghana and interned at a malnutrition ward where I gained invaluable experience caring for infants. Most recently, I babysat 2-3 days a week from December-January 2013 for an 8-month-old boy. I am passionate about caring for children and babysitting is more than a job for me.
