I've worked in a childcare facility for 8 years. Four years as a teacher, the other four as a director. I've worked with many children the ages range from 6 weeks to 12 years. Over the years, I find that infants are unique and have their own patterns of play, eating and sleeping. I use these patterns to help me transition them to their daily activities. Toddlers learn through sensory that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills. With preschoolers as well as all children, learn by doing. Mixing fun activities with learning always help open up a whole new world of wanting to know and learn more.
