In 1994, I was a nanny for triplets. They are 18 years old now and I still count them as my wonderful friends. I have also had my own cleaning business since 1996 and I am still cleaning homes now. I was a nanny for a family for 9 years and took care of their newborn little girl. She is almost 12 now. I also drove her brother and sister to and from school, soccer games, and cheerleading, I guess all the regular activities that young people are involved in. While I cared for this family, I still cleaned for some of my elderly customers. Nannying and cleaning has always overlapped for me.
Currently, I am helping a family with nanny services on a part-time basis.
I have also done some elder care and have recently discovered that I am good at house painting!
I feel like my age might work against me but I am very strong and hard working and really love the work I have chosen to do.
