When I was younger, I would babysit for people in my church. Their children would be between the ages of 5 - 11 or a little younger, 3-4. When I was in high school, I worked part time at a childcare center in Doraville. I got to know the parents well and their children. I babysat for two families and got attached to them as well. After high school, down the road I went to DeKalb Technical College, received a 4 quarter diploma in Early Childhood Paraprofessional, graduated from there in 1987, then got my first teaching job at an elementary school. Now I am a divorced, a single mom looking for work, I have two children; my son is 22 and my daughter is 20 and she has Epilepsy. I also watch a friend of mine's children, she had 6 children ages ranging from 2-11, and we became good friends!
