First, because I've always been around children, I feel I understand them. I began baby-sitting from the age of 12 to 20 a great deal, and was a certified baby sitter at the time. Then I went to school for preschool ed, and earned my CDA. After this, I was a nanny for five years, (infants-8 years), then I taught 2's for 2 1/2 years. This I followed by 10 years of off/on doing in-home child care, (infants - preteens). At my most recent job, I taught 3 to 4's for a year. I have also helped a great deal in my children's classroom, field trips, and with a mom/tot program when they were younger. I enjoy being around little people, seeing them figure out a task is an awesome thing to witness.
