My experience in childcare is vast. I enjoy taking care of and nurturing children and have been doing so with five children of my own. I have 20 years of experience in childcare, having started when I was 11 years old. I am very familiar with ages and stages through age 10.
As a teenager I was a reliable and consistent sitter which kept the same families calling whenever a babysitting need arose. The children of those families were always excited to have me there and to play with them. My husband and I started our own family 10 years ago and have five children, ages 10, 7, 5, 2 and 5 months. In addition to caring for my children I have also been home schooling them for the past 5 years. The past two years I have been the Nursery Director at my church. I have passed a background check and child task force training as a requirement to work with the children and babies in my church. I have also had the opportunity, through the nursery, to care for many babies that are close in age.
