While my references reflect more of dog sitter and even elder caregiver, I do have a great passion for working with children. Honestly, my babysitting record is not very extensive, however I still have experience due to my family life. In the past months, I have moved home from the Saint Louis area, and this has allowed me to provide a great deal of care to my two siblings. My younger brother is a teenager with a Autism Spectrum Disorder and my 5-year-old sister was recently adopted from China and has complications due to Spina Bifida. In all earnest, I care so fiercely about them and their well being that I feel my maternal instinct has kicked in overdrive. I have been doing a lot of research on child care and have been working with my siblings everyday. I have plans to return to school and study art education and possibly special education next spring.
