I have been caring for little ones of all ages (0-12) for many wonderful years now. My experiences include: occasional babysitting, mother's helper, part time nannying, seasonal nannying, full time nannying, and I also have done elder care.
I can honestly say I truly enjoy working with kids. It's a special position to be involved with nurturing their growth and zest for life. I work with the family's rules, routines and guidelines. Every family is different and each one has a system that works for them. Some of my specific activities as a nanny include: reading, park trips, learning activities, crafts, play dates with friends and neighbors, nap time, meals, light to moderate cleaning, play time, dance, going on walks, movies, help with home work, puzzles and skill building, running errands, art, outdoor sports and play, etc.
My goal with each position is to provide safe, reliable and responsible care. I love to have fun and be active with the kids. At the same time it's important to allow time for developing social skills and learning. I strive to honor each parent's preferences for the type of care they desire for their little ones.
